Stonecutter Spirits

This review is for the July 27, 2019 Adventure dinner. From start until we left it was a disaster. Completely unprofessional with first stop young man cooking raw pork with a stick on tiny grill and using same gloves to touch and cook veggie option small squash. Long line of people waiting for an hour for this appetizer. There was no water or napkins or trash can with many standing in wonderment as what to to do. For the price of this dinner and unprofessional management it was completely inexcusable. This was not the fault of the venue which was beautiful.

Stopped in to check out the gin- which was outstanding. Was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the whiskey was.. if you haven't stopped by you need to- great cocktails also made with their fabulous products. Thoroughly enjoyed!!!

The gin is OUTSTANDING! Now, our favorite. Bought from them at the Bennington garlic festival, great people and friendly. I am a customer for life!

Ok so I'll give this place 4 stars because the cocktails are amazingly hand crafted with fresh products and it's a great dog friendly beautiful tasting space and the merch is top notch! The spirits themselves... Leave a lot to be desired especially for the price point there's an ethanol burn in both the gin and the whiskey that speak to me as an inferior process or inexperienced distillersnIt's a shame as I REALLY like the vibe going here but I can't recommend the liquor esp when you're in the same state at Whistle Pig (and even Smugglers Notch was VERY good)

A must try! Unique opportunity to sample and learn about spirits that are truly special. The staff is really superfriendly knowledgeable and the atmosphere of their tasting room is perfect. Even if your not sure about spirits you will leave a fan.
