Oceanside restaurant with good food and great views! We sat on the patio outside which is spacious. The food was better than we were expecting-- came quickly and was hot and pretty tasty. We tried the clam chowder, fritters, lobster roll, and fish platter and all were delicious. Only negatives are that the drinks are pretty pricey for the size, around $12-14 for solo cup size or smaller, and the service can be on the slow side, but the latter I think you almost have to expect and can't really complain about with the views. We were able to bring our dog which was cool and they even have a menu for dogs and will bring a bucket of water for them, so bonus points for that. Would definitely come back again.

If I could leave no stars I would. Looking for a place where none of the people making your food wear a mask? Well Windjammer Surf Bar is the place. Pretty sure it is the breading grounds of COVID-19. The kitchen staff was clearly visible and not wearing masks at all and many of the people the staff members including the owners of the place, were walking around, not wearing masks properly either. The place was pretty dirty and had a lot of flies around. Not exactly what you want while going out for a meal. Food was overpriced for how average it is. You can get the same quality bar food elsewhere and pay a lot less. The view of the ocean was nice, but overall, this place is not worth visiting if you’re trying to get quality food and not contract the virus.

The food was excellent. The waitress was great. We sat in a little igloo outside on the deck watch the waves. It was a great day a great place

The atmosphere of this place is great, it is the perfect place in the summer to overlook the ocean and hang out by the bar while not being overwhelming with so many people.The food is classic Bar food with seafood mixed into the menu that is decent. Would recommend to anybody wanting to listen to some live music overlooking the ocean on a gorgeous summer day. Also nice that they are the only place open year-round in the area right on the beach!
