Fluke is a Newport gem! I've lived here over thirty years and you won't find better food anywhere in Newport. Jeff and Germie are truly old school restaurant people who treat each and every guest as if they were long lost friends, and they pass this on to their staff who do the same. Phenomenal food, amazing sunset views of Newport and Narragansett Bay. The staff will treat you like family!
The best part of dining there, besides the food being great, the wine list very good and the server being a pro was the attention paid to us by Jeff, one of the owners. He so went out of his way to make sure everything was in order abs it truly was. We will go back soon!!
Amazing food and service! Cannot recommend enough
Highly recommend Fluke to anyone who wants to have an absolutely delicious meal, with outstanding service and atmosphere. My boyfriend, friend and I dined at Fluke for dinner on a Saturday evening, and it was the highlight of our Newport weekend. Every dish was better than the last, and the owner was so kind and seemed to sincerely care that we had an excellent dining experience. More than once, we saw the owner stop by every table just to say hello or make sure they were enjoying their meal. In addition, all of the staff was kind and warm throughout and we never felt rushed to turnover the table (which I'm sad to say was the not the norm during our other meals in Newport that weekend). All in all, 10/10 would recommend Fluke to anyone in Newport.
