Fantastic traditional Mexican eat. Great upbeat family friendly atmosphere! The chips were warm and fresh and the meals were tasty. This is not an artistic cuisine type place. Just straight forward good food.

Good atmosphere, nice interior design, great bar, customer service. It's rather pricey as Mexican fare goes so we didn't order any meals. I do want to try one another time. My girlfriend and I are particular with Mexican fare since we have lived in the Denver area for 26 years as well spending times in Taos and Santa Fe. She also spent 6 years living in Mexico city so she knows great Mexican food.

Delicious fajitas! Service by waitress was very professional, clean restaurant, plexiglass separators between each booth, with checkout right at our table making a totally awesome dining experience from beginning to end.

This was $16 with the cheese added on! Dinner portion and with cheap iceberg lettuce at that. Small portions.nnCustomer service zero. Won’t name the waitress...Wanted to stay and chat with my mom but she acted as if we were an intrusion and was in the worst mood . Kinda bummed us out we were in a good mood smiling and laughing when we walked in and she just ruined it for us .

We were in Ohio celebrating our 26th wedding Anniversary looking for some good Mexican cuisine we stopped at a place down the road and they never even acknowledged us for 5-7 minutes. So we walked out and drove a few to find El Vaquero. We were warmly welcomed, seated and were brought drinks and chips in the amount of time we stood waiting at the other restaurant. Our waitress was supper friendly and listened to our story. Our food was amazing and came hot! Our waitress made our night by wishing us a Happy Anniversary and sending us on our way with a complimentary dessert that was delicious! We will definitely return again. Best Mexican food we have had in a very long time!
