Line was out the door due to social distancing and tourist season. Watched other people walk up from outside and go to a different line, order and pay for their ice cream and then leave, so we decided to do the same. When we got in line, however, a very rude employee came up and told us that we could not line up there, that it was only a backup line though we personally seen several other customers walk right up, place their order pay and leave, without having waited in the longer line across the hall. Stores have policies, but you'd think they'd at least be consistent with the customers.
Got ice rearm in deadwood that was better. Lady at the door was rude don’t waste your money. The Mount Rushmore is worth it but the ice cream
Prices seemed a bit high, but about the rate you'd expect at such a popular tourist attraction. Thomas Jefferson's ice cream is a must have, even at the higher price. It was by far the richest, creamiest ice cream I've ever had. Grab a cone and then spend some time walking around the monument.
Very good tasting ice cream. Customer service can use some improvements. Prices are reasonable for the quality of icecream.
