Apothecary Lounge

It was a quaint spot. The hotel was nice. I really liked the elevator (great for selfies). The rooftop was nice, but it was chilly so I stayed inside. The food, service and drinks were really good. I will definitely come back!!

This place is a great environment for a night out. Try to catch it at sunset for beautiful views of downtown Albuquerque. I would have given 4 stars (or even 5) but last time I went my partner sent back an Old Fashioned because it was super syrupy and gag-inducing. Which wouldn't have been an issue if it weren't for a second staff member besides our waiter (presumably a manager) following up with "are you sure it's our Old Fashioned, we make them in our sleep and sell a lot of them" and "we are worried you won't like the next drink either." I was like, "dude we aren't even picky, the drink just wasn't good." His reaction didn't seem hospitality-oriented, although he did use a menu to remove a giant hissing cicada that happened to land on my shoulder during our conversation, so that was nice.

The cocktails here are fantastic and the atmosphere is top notch! The bartenders are super helpful with drink suggestions if you're overwhelmed with figuring out what you may want.
