I have banked with First State Bank for many years. They are a family friendly local bank that works with the customer to help them meet their banking needs. They offer many of the same benefits as large banks, but with a “know your name” personal feel.
This bank has met all our needs with no problems. Michelle is a bright and friendly spot.
This is the worst bank ever! They deposited my son's car payment in someone else's account and then repossessed his car. They called a few days later and said they found the payment and he could come and get his car. They should have brought it back!
Very helpful here and you won't meet any nicer people..They are all happy and willing to help.
So apparently, checks signed over to someone else cannot be deposited into an account without the original person the check was written to being on the account? Didn't bother this bank to do the same thing before!! Then to hold the checks for 4 days and then finally call....ridiculous. Might as well bank with 5/3 again.
