Montauket Bar

Prosecco in hand & a beautiful sunset, what more can you ask when you’re at the end of the world. It’s a hidden bar situated on a steep hill and the patrons are mostly locals. There’s beach access, but a bit tricky to find the path since the restaurant closed off the fence, but I would imagine during the day it would be open. A live band playing 70’s rock to 90’s alternative, sets the tone for head bops and swaying hips. A casual bar with an array of beers on tap. I felt bubbles were called for since it’s a Jewish New Year after all.

Good food and friendly staff

Gets crazy crowded at sunset so it can take 20 minutes to even order a drink at the bar (bring cash cause it’s faster!), but the sunset views are pretty unbeatable if you can snag a standing spot down by the water. Don’t go for food, just happy hour beers.

Best views at the end of the world. Dive bar spot with decent drinks and food. Come here for the view.
