Morty's Oyster Stand

I read some of the reviews here where they gave 1 or 2 stars and I think that's an unfair rating. The restaurant decor is really nice and chic, the staff were personable and very friendly, the drinks were a bit pricey, food options were great and balanced. We mainly tried the seafood options and the quality, taste and presentation was very satisfying.

The only reason I gave this place two stars and not one is because the food quality is decent.nTry to avoid eating here, the food is WAYnoverpriced, it is very clear that this place is a TOURIST TRAP they use the fact that they're in the middle of nowhere to charge as much as they want . Oysters are 3$ a pop and tiny lobster roll is 32$ but the best part was the mussels which usually come with toasted bread in any respectful establishment but when we asked about it we were asked to pay 2$ extra for bread.nThe staff is friendly but you won't be seeing me coming back.

After a 5 hour drive my wife and I stopped in for some food. We were both craving oysters. The food was great. There was one server who I was not fond of. I only asked 3 questions and he seemed as if I was annoying him.nn1. Can I please have a menun2. Where the bathroom wasn3. Can I please have more napkinsnnI would definitely go back. I have no complaints about the food, but maybe management could do something about the employee.

My husband and I visited Morty's this summer and were absolutely amazed at how delicious the food was! We are foodies so we have very high standards. Food was perfection, service was amazing and we even got to meet the owner! He sat next to us and he was so friendly, he even treated us to an amazing dessert. Also, the decor was beautiful too. Overall a perfect experience. :-)
