Cantero Brewing Company

The wings were phenomenal. Tore flesh right from bone. Spicy, but edible. The staff was friendly and attentive. An amazing venue to play geeks who drink. The beer was very good for a newer brewery. Their strong ale was very oaky which I quite enjoy, and their IPA was juicy yet floral. I'd for sure come here again.

We had just come from another brew pub in Albuquerque where the service was not at all good and the beer only slightly better. How refreshing it was to find Cantero! They have been open for one year, and are doing a great job with their products and service. We tried samples of several of their brews and settled on some great choices, and enjoyed the fried cauliflower appetizer and fish and chips. We had a nice chat with the owner and the brewer, who are committed to making Cantero a great experience. Highly recommended while you are in Albuquerque.

Cantero is a great spot tucked away. It is a good place to meet friends. Not too loud (right after 5 anyway and packed). They have an amazing brown ale, Deaf Brown Dog, that almost tastes like a stout. A cream cider that is tart and smooth. Their staff is friendly and still checked on us even though they were short handed (thanks Brittney). She even asked our names and welcomed us to come back. Whaat? Yeah, that made me feel good and yes, I will return. Good play. Google your way there and find them. You won't be sorry.

I spent an evening at Cantero Brewing Company for my birthday recently, and was very nicely treated and looked after by the staff. Cantero is an amazingly pleasant place to enjoy a beer or a cider. The staff is friendly, and the friends I bring over are equally impressed with the experience. I especially enjoy karaoke night on Mondays. Cantero has become my favorite brewpub, and I look forward to many more visits.

We have gone her multiple times but this time the server was just terrible. Had an attitude the entire time. Just walked away as we were speaking. A child even noticed the rudeness saying “usually they are nicer at Cantero” definitely disappointing.
