Dorado

Nice area. Waist was exactly 30-40 minutes like she said which i didn’t mind. Shrimp Tacos & steak tacos were great! And the margaritas were so good. And the waitresses/servers were all very nice

Have heard great things about Dorado and my boyfriend and I both got the fish tacos which were cooked well but very poorly put together and basically just slaw and a few pieces of shrimp. Dry rice with no flavor. Drinks were okay and the waiter (large male w/ beard) was very short and rude but the bartender Des was doing her best to make sure tables were set and taken care of. Seems a bit overpriced/hyped for the quality of the food we had received tonight. I would say their restaurant Roux is a much better option for basically the same price point.

Fresh made chips and homemade guacamole, salsa, and Pico were fabulous. I highly suggest dipping in the guac then the salsa - the combo was amazing. The classic margarita was perfect for my taste (my husband said his was too strong however, which is about the only reason it's 4 stars and not 5). I had the shrimp tacos and hubby had the beef enchiladas skillet. I've never had enchiladas but I think I'll order them next time, delicious. The shrimp tacos were also very good. The key lime pie however was practically to die for - the best I've ever had (and it's my favorite - I've had a lot of them!)

Visited Sunday 3/21, only one staffer, he was absolutely overwhelmed. Dorado must put at least 2 people to work. Did not get the best service or experience due to lack of service. Was rushed in and rushed out. On top of this, everyone at the table is required to get main course. That's kind of greedy, drinks and starters should do the trick. Table was not clean either.

Always love this place. But they're busy today and won't do takeout orders. Is this a regular thing when they're busy? While Covid is still a concern. So the people trying to be safer can't order food. LOL
