TRATA: The Restaurant At The Armory

Our first time visit after hearing good things from others--we were not disappointed!! Trata was packed as it was a Friday evening, so we were glad we had called for reservations. We were seated promptly and our server, Chris, was right on top of things. We decided to share 3 appetizers rather than order entrees.

We called to reserve a table for 2 outdoors. They could only accommodate us at their rooftop bar. It was interesting to watch the bar tender work while she brushed away at the yellow jackets that flew around her. Service was very good because the bar tender was also our waitress.nnTheir menu was very limited. They only had 4 or 5 dinner entrees. So, I chose to have 2 appetizers instead: the pita chips with artichoke dip and the pork belly with hoisin sauce in a steamed bun. My husband opted for the pan-seared salmon. The appetizer servings were quite generous. The artichoke dip and pita chips are very rich and very good. Although, the cook burned a few chips. The steamed bun was okay. My husband also enjoyed his salmon dinner.

Always stellar food. Lots of great choices! The staff does a great job on following covid protocols to make sure that all guests are safe.

We love it here!nnAsk for sweet and smoky mayo, it's awesome on everything!nnI just wish tempura green beans would come back.

Always come here and get their appetizers. They never disappoint! Their drinks are always delicious as well.
