Applebee's Grill + Bar

We eat dinner there frequently. A very clean restaurant and the wait staff are superb. The bartender/ waiter Chris is a charmer and nice guy. They all deserve big tips for their great service.

Ended up with a very good steak.. the journey to this steak was long and silly. Called order in after leaving Wegmans, pulled up early and settled in for the wait. A very nice young lady came out to apologize that what my wife and I ordered was not available.. we laughed and ordered the steaks.. we asked if they had steak sauce put they were out that too... but the steaks were good.. overall not a bad meal at all. Wife and I were full and pleased. And thank you to the very nice young lady that had to run back and forth.

Applebee's is going downhill in my opinion. Its been years since I've super enjoyed a meal there. Yesterday friends chose to eat there. I ordered the six ounce sirloin. The meat was so gristle, i had to fight to eat half, and the broccoli was old and not even blanched. Thank God the potatoes were edible.

Order the 2$20 deal, ordered steaks with loaded potatoes and the 4 cheese mac n cheese. Bland very bland, plain potatoes with some bacon crumbs and shredded cheese, the 4 cheese mac n cheese is just pennes noodles with shredded cheese, tastes like was made in a microwave. Steaks were dry even tho we ordered cooked medium and had to salt mine heavily and drown in sour cream to get it down. I remember a time when they had good food I will not be ordering again, ever.
