What a gem! Wonderful atmosphere! Great for a date, friends, or family. Clean! Comforting music, quiet dining. Staff very professional and friendly! Esp. loved how they shared local food sources and cooking methods when asked. Our table of four was greatly pleased, well-served and food was delicious!

We had dinner here last week and were not disappointed. We started with the spring roll appetizer, so yummy. Then the french onion soup, which was one of the best we've ever had. My husband got the Hollow Burger and homemade chips, He was very happy. And I got the salmon belly - WOW! Great service and good prices.

Food is just okay but restaurant struggles to find an identity. Is it a bistro? Is it a brew pub? Is it an Asian restaurant? In the end, it's none of these but a crazy fusion of disparate themes. For example, ordered the Linguine Jambalaya. The use of linguine should be the first clue that this menu item left the tracks especially since rice is available in many other dishes but I decided to give it a chance. Instead of anything close to a traditional Jambalaya, the dish was served in what seems like a Thai-inspired smoked paprika cream sauce. Why? So, if you think you're getting anything close to a jambalaya, don't order it. We've given Hollow Bistro & Brew several chances over the years and this was probably the last one.
