I have had nothing but the BEST experiences here! I've seen every single therapist at the Delmar office at one point in my recovery and they are all professional, knowledgeable, and personable! Not only do they help me feel better, but we joke around and have a good time doing it.nnI want to specifically call out:nJess, Roxy, Cheryl, Ashley, and Jill.nnThank you for everything!!

Great therapists and quick service.

I went for PT for a month. The therapists gave me directions as what to do, but that was it. They weren't unfriendly, but they spent a lot of time on their cell phones. A few times I wound up doing an exercise in error and itnmade my condition a little worse. An instruction sheet for at home exercises had errors on the amount of repetitions. I've had therapy before in another city. The staff there were a lot more interested in giving me information and monitoring my progress.

The employees at this location are inexperienced, and lack the professionalism to provide expert care and rehabilitation of injuries. While they may have read about treatment and patient care in their college courses or limited internships, they can’t possibly have seen enough complex and actual patients to provide a level of expertise you would need or demand for your important issues. In reading past posts that were positive, I believe these reflect professionals who have long since moved on and are not there anymore. Two of the three I recently encountered fail to even make eye contact while explaining something, demonstrating a terrible lack of professional confidence and immmaturity. In addition they provide surface-level explanations for what are likely complex things, and as a previous commenter mentioned, just rush you off on a set of standard exercises then go in the central area to use their cell phones. Very unprofessional. Their level of understanding and responsiveness is also in question - here, the adage “every problem is a nail, when all you have is a hammer” certainly applies. I imagine all of this is lost on those with low health literacy, but I am not that, and expect a level of professionalism and expertise that was simply not there.nnFrom an administrative perspective something needs to change. As I had had poor experiences with some of the staff, I purposely scheduled several of my next appointments with the one staff member that was semi-competent and seemed to somewhat know what she was doing. However, when I showed up to these appointments, the PT I was specifically avoiding and didn’t schedule presented herself to work with me, while the PT I had scheduled was clearly there and sitting in the inner office. This was nerve-wracking and uneacceptable. If I schedule an appointment with a specific provider, I expect to see that provider when I show up. Also, probably no fault of the PTs, they seem to be oversheduling appointments on top of each other, which reduces the care and attention they can provide to the individual patient. All that said, some experienced administrator should really become a regular presence at the facility to crack down on the inner-office cellphone and disengagement by PT’s. Millennials.

I have been a patient of Dr. Marino Baselice for 30 years. In that time I have found him to be an excellent diagnostician with a warm, compassionate nature as well as a boisterous sense of humor. You will find few practitioners so committed to your health as he is. I can very confidently recommend him!nnChristopher J. Maestro, DMD
