Full disclosure: This was my neighborhood bar back when you could get a Copper Burger with a side of fries, 16 oz beer, and leave a tip for just $10. I moved away, the bar changed, and when I came back the Copper Lounge was crawling with patrons and bartenders who creep me out with their pretentiousness and Daddy's money. That being said, the new incarnation of the Copper Lounge is very good if you are comfortable with $17 signature cocktails, international cuisine appetizers starting at $11, glitz and glamour and flowing silk and faux pearls, students pretending to be trust fund babies, and a staff that is excellent at their jobs. Not my thing, but the Copper Lounge does its new thing very very well. Impress you friends who think Albuquerque is a hick town.

Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. There was fast, efficient, and courteous service. The place has a nice feel to it.

Nice bar. Used to be more of a dive and they really made it fancy. Great drinks at reasonable prices. Bartenders know a lot and happy to talk about what to pout yah.

I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality lounge to go to. Speciality drinks and $6 drafts. The winter darjeeling firing squad tequila specialty drink was very good, we had as a shot. Very smooth, with house made grenadine for a tart compliment to the tequila. Nachos were very good as well, perfect compliment to a evening with drinks. Speciality drinks about $12 each. Daniel was our bartender, very friendly and made very well balanced drinks. Highly recommened.

Copper Lounge is an old school interior decor, with a redesigned and trendy flow to it. It is well attended and so you will always find people there, and you will not find drama there... However, all there is, is seating (again great atmosphere) without anything else to do... In addition they have an over priced and extremely limited menu. The drinks were good and decently priced... So, it is a good place, I won't call it the best!
