I have been told that the psycologist does not do face to face visit they only do vertual visit, As if I am a computer to trouble shoot me /fix me by distance like microsoft TECH.... UNACCEPTABLE!!! If fairview medical Doctors or PA or staffs who are in close contact with patients must come to work why the Psychologist who's job is to observe patient closely does not come to work..Donot you think this is insurance FRAUD and abuse? Beside I do not want to get energy reading otherwise will go to furtune teller......nnTo the pyscogists :nYou are a pyscologiest even if Fairview ask you to stay at home you should know that Your job in too valuable to human being so you should refuse Not being a part of your patients close tehraphy is invalue......unless you do not care and money is more important to you but believe me if you are good in your job people will follow you anywhere you havr a dedk...nI know it becasue i have expraince it myself..nnAs a patient :nI understand the fear of COVID virus but this is not an excuse for you not to come to do your job like other doctord do... BY THE WAY donot you charging our insurance company full price then why shouldnot we exparience your full treatment?nnI would like to you to please respect your many years of study and exparience and do not allow a firm question your intelegence and dictate you how to value your patients, because we are not computer!!!!nWe have feeling and we are the one who need face to face treatment and get your proper treatment so try to value us...nRemmber you are the Boss of Fairview they are just your accountant....nnTo Fairview and HealthEast clinicnI feel when doctor does not visit patient that is a insurance Fraud...nnI give ZERO star to FairviewAND Health east MENTAL health DEPARTMENT and we should bycott this depatment until they acknowledge the care and equality of thier mental health department same as other department...

This is the only psychiatric hospital I've been to inpatient, so I don't have much to compare it to.nFor inpatient only one staff member ever did anything inappropriate to me. And since there were probably 30 staff I interacted with, I have to say I think that's about as good as you're gonna get. Outpatient psychiatrists I had seen kept having me try these new unapproved medications which did absolutely nothing for me or gave me life threatening side effects. At this hospital, however, they went straight to the tried and true medications for my disorder which ended up helping me significantly within three days of taking them. The psych associates and some nurses working there didn't seem to know much of anything about mental illness (which is okay because they were mostly just there to monitor and keep an eye on everyone). They would often try to convince me to get better, as if my illness wasn't physical in my brain. The pain was so bad that I spent the whole time trying to think of ways to make it stop via death, and there trying to convince me to get better was more than offensive. It would be like telling someone who just got shot to just get over it and get better. With all this being said, the important part, protecting me from myself and getting me on good medications were done well.

I only have been admitted once to behavioral pediatric unit at the University of Minnesota fairview riverside hospital. The staff was so awesome.
