I travel in and out of this airport 2-3 times a month, for the last 10 years. I am never even tempted to get anything at this poor excuse of a ‘Sky Bar and Grill’. One experience with the coffe was enough to never get it again. This was the second time in those 10 years. Today, my flight was delayed. It was 9:30a, and the case with cakes and muffins was essentially empty. One cinnamon bun, and about 6 prepackaged muffins. There was a choice of 1 kind of off brand plain bagel or off brand English Muffins. So I thought, ‘How can they screw up an English Muffin’? Lol. It was, dry, and over toasted. I was given margarine, and asked for butter. They don’t have any? Well, I certainly can believe that it’s not butter. Everything else is pre-made and reheated. I realize that it’s a small airport, but it has a lot of traffic. This place has to do enough business not to have to cheap out on everything. I’m not asking for a Starbucks, but at least have drinkable coffee, and some fresh, non-prepackaged pastry, that isn’t sold out at 9:30a. Would it be so hard to have 2 kinds of bagels?nI might even buy something, more frequently. At least more than 2x in 10 years.
