This place is basically a clubhouse for the rich and the food is pretty average food for expensive prices. The golf course is ok but it's not that challenging, it's a basic layout.
Food is great! Service is great! However my husband joined this club before I was in town. As of yet - 1 year later, not one female member has taken time to introduce herself to me. If you are new to the area the members are not welcoming you must make yourself known. Everyone knows my husband but will not introduce themselves to me. I feel invisible there.
Excellent meal. Great way to celebrate a 60h wedding anniversary
There are not enough starts to give SLCC. We had both our wedding ceremony and reception here, and the entire process was nothing short of amazing. The event coordinator, Eryn, was very responsive and walked us through the entire planning process. Pricing is very reasonable and you can customize your packages (appetizers, dinner, drinks, and linen). The food was the best food I've had at a wedding, and our guests raved about it all night. And, you cannot go wrong with their beautiful ceremony site - alongside the lake underneath the willow tree. I highly recommend hosting your wedding or another event here!
