If you want to indulge yourself every once in a while then I highly recommend this place. We had a party of six and ordered fillets, burgers, ribs, shrimp, cocktails, and dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious! The portions were great and the wait staff were prompt and courteous. I was impressed that everything was very flavorful. Best meal of 2021 by far.

The experience we had at Black Rock was extremely positive. On a whim, my husband and I decided to give this place a try. Our server Nick went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of including explaining how cooking our food on the rock worked. We will definitely return. Very clean inside and protocols for Covid-19 protection were in place. When we came to dessert, I was expecting a piece of cheesecake, not a shareable pan. While for some people they could eat the whole dessert, there was enough for two people to share. I ordered ice tea to drink, and was worried because almost every place I order this drink it is bitter, I was happily surprised, no sugar needed. The campfire baked sweet potato came with a side of caramel sauce, 3 large toasted marshmallows, and was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the best impromptu visit at a restaurant we have experienced.

YES! YES! YES! Hubby and I met up with a friend we hadn't seen in a decade, and he suggested this place. Hubby and I had always wanted to try it, and so we were excited to see what it was all about. The food was incredibly delicious (filet, house salad and green beans, which were perfect!), and we loved cooking our steaks on a 700+ degree volcanic rock, but what made the night exceptional was our server, Robin. Not only was she friendly, she went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated. She made great suggestions and gave us plenty of time to look at the menu, while we socialized and caught up with our friend. Our drinks were never empty, and Robin stopped by frequently to make sure all was good. Beyond that, she stopped by and simply talked with us, which was really nice. Having such a personable, kind, and conversational human being taking care of us was truly what made everything come together. We have no complaints, and we will be back. Thank you!

I thought it was a very cool experience. I was very nervous cooking my own steak especially on something so hot but it actually was a lot more manageable than I thought. It was a delicious and wonderful cut of steak. Honestly I had a really nice time. My soup and sides were very good. The bar tender was very personable. She did forget something but she was very nice about it. My biggest criticism was the temperature and the cleanliness. It was very very cold inside. I’m not sure if this is due to an attempt to clear as much smoke as possible from fans or it was just cold but it was uncomfortably cold. I would absolutely come again in the hopes that it’s a bit warmer next time.
