Everytime I call the receptionist is vey rude . There never any appointments available. And not a lot of providers to chose from, but I will stay there stay lack the care and compassion for the public. I’m just sick of caring more then they do

I picked this office through my insurance as my primary care and am currently taking steps to have it changed. Terrible experience from start to finish. It was always hard to get in contact and the staff made me feel like a burden. Lack of compassion from staff, overall 0 of 10.

Today I tried to see my health care provider at MSU Clinical, I have used this facility for years. I realize we’re in the mist of a pandemic. That is why the Governor announced on the news “if you feel sick see your health care provider .” I had a temp since Saturday therefore I wanted to be checked as to what may be going on. When my daughter made the appointment for me she was told the doctor would call me but do not come to the office, 4 hours later I call again and the receptionist told me I had to wait for the doctor to call. I asked “why can’t I just go in for an appointment?” She promptly told me they couldn’t let me come in because THEY might get sick. I said is this really ethical to tell a sick patient they can’t come in to see their health care provider cause I might make YOU sick??She said yes this is what they were doing. I was so shocked!!! I went Urgent Care and they took me in right away without any problem. I am so incredibly disappointed with MSU Clinical. They have very poor management practices.

This is only the second time that I've visited an MSU clinic and they can never seem to get the billing right. They bill my insurance and then send me a bill for what my insurance doesn't pay. This would be fine if it was my deductible, but the issue is that they have a certain code that they send the insurance company, the insurance company pays the contractually agreed upon amount. This number may be lower than what they bill a person without insurance. Instead of adjusting the amount accordingly, they have wrongly sent me the bill for the remainder outside of the contracted number. If I didn't know better, I might have paid it. Because I know better, I contacted my insurance company and contacted the billing office. It has been taken care of both times, but it's NOT OKAY that this has happened twice now! So if you go to this clinic (which I don't recommend because of the hair-brained billing system) check your bill and know what you're paying for!
