The emergency room at RFGH is a joke my elderly mother fell on February 28, 2021 and they told me they would call me when they got her test results in and no one ever called me I had to call to find out what was going on then they say oh we’re discharging her so head over I head over and I sit sit sit sit sit and they are not even bringing her out they wouldn’t even let me talk to my mother this hospital is a joke so don’t come to Redington General Hospital even if your dog is sick I wouldn’t take your dog even to this hospital. It’s pretty bad even when you are your mothers primary care giver and her POW and they would not tell me nothing. The one star I gave them I wish I could not even give them that if I could have gave them negative stars I would. They lied to my mother and said they called me and went over her results and no one ever called me when I called the hospital today 3/1/2021 to speak to someone higher and find out if that is the way they run there hospital the lady Angela actually had the nerve to hang up on me. Has been looked up they broke all my moms patients rights and my rights to be with my mom where I am her POW and her primary care giver.

I was admitted into Redington Fairview for a few days because I had to have an open hysterectomy. The staff, anywhere from day surgery to the birthing center the lab and the cafeteria were all so friendly. They made my stay most comfortable that they possibly could. I would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

I was there in the ER on 1/12/21. I came in with a knee injury that happened while snowmobiling. I actually tore my ACL and both Meniscus in one knee. I was in severe pain. I want to let you know how terrible I was treated.nI was told I could not get anything for pain before I even laid on the bed. I was afraid to say how much pain I was in. I do not take drugs nor have I ever and this one nurse was basically insisting I was a drug addict looking for a high. One nurse wanted to give me a shot for pain (quietly and secretly) but I was ushered out the door before she could happen. The ex-ray Tech was amazing and she knew how bad it was and told me I would need an MRI. At least a few people there had some compassion. When that happened it made me realize how uncoordinated and messed up this place is. No one was on the same page. They made me feel more terrible than when I first went in, if that is possible. You have you know how much pain I was in that night at home and the next day before I could get into my doctors.nNext time I will drive straight through to Waterville!

If you can survive another 25 mins, drive right past this hospital to waterville hospitals. This place is jacked up from medical services all the way to the billing dept.

Had a snowmobile accident while on vacation February 28 and they took care of me ASAP. Dave the x-ray tech was so nice and personable and Dr Brian and his male nurse were super awesome, caring and down to earth. Highly recommend‼ufe0f
