I am beyond upset that the groomer did not hear a word I said when giving specific directions for my doodle’s haircut. He received a ‘standard’ doodle cut and looks like a completely different dog than i walked in with. For $85 plus tip, I feel strongly that my requests should be heard and adhered to. I am so upset, I will not be returning.nnAn addendum to this review...if you read the owner response carefully you will find rather than sincerely apologizing to an unhappy (and honestly sad,) customer, I’m being told I am incorrect in my feelings and observations. (The response has been edited now to appear more apologetic.) Regardless of years of experience, everyone makes mistakes and clearly I wasn’t heard in this instance. I don’t appreciate being told I should ask someone else for their opinion on their dogs experience, this is about mine. Customer service...maximum 2 stars.

I followed my groomer, Donna, to Maine Soggy Dog. The place is very clean, very well appointed. The appointment process, on line, is easy and efficient. The rest of the staff seem to care. I love Donna. She is so good and caring to my dog. If she chose to work at Maine Soggy Dog, it must be a good place. I was very happy with this grooming and will continue to go there.

Pippa had her first-ever grooming appointment at Soggy Dog and despite sometimes being nervous around new people she loved it!! Donna was so sweet and Pippa absolutely loved her. We did a de-shedding treatment and it helped SO much with her insane shedding!

The owner and staff are so friendly. I always feel comfortable leaving my fur baby with them for grooming. And they do a fantastic job!
