What can I say? I Google places to eat in Portland, Maine and DiMillo's came up in the search. Went to the website and decided right then and there I had to visit. From beginning to end, everything was awesome. Every person who greeted us to being seated. Our waitress, Lisa C., was awesome at every turn. The food is delicious and so is desert. I believe we ran into the owner or his son on our way out and he was so nice. He asked us about our experience and to make sure our parking ticket was validated. (Make sure you park in their parking lot) I live far away from here and am seriously thinking of coming here for my birthday. You will not be disappointed at all.

It's basically Applebee's on a boat, but you pay extra for the boat.

It was a good experience. The restaurant is past the parking lot, the big white boat. It can be a little difficult to know where to go at first, but just walk toward the white boat. We had the shrimp cocktail.. amazing. Also had lobster rolls, they squeeze butter on the top and the roll tastes better if you use a fork to blend in the butter a little. Beautifully right on the water, better in the Summer when the top deck area is open. Enjoy!

Outside seating is available but even indoors is very well spaced for social distancing. Masked servers and other covid precautions made the experience feel safe. The seafood was delicious. Enjoyed the crab cakes and Pecan crusted haddock. Would definitely return. Be sure to park in the right place. They do not validate for city lots.

I recently went here for the third time with my family and it was different.nnParking is validated, this restaurant is on a ship and the atmosphere is wonderful!nnWhen things were normal, the menu was plentiful. Since the Corona Virus hit, the menu is limited and so is staff.nnWhen we were sat we waited 10-12 minutes before our waitress came to the table. Thankfully we knew what we wanted so we ordered drinks, appetizer and food right away. While we sat waiting for our meal, we got to see some fisherman taking a leak off his boat... that was pleasant to see - so if you're into that kind of entertainment make sure to dine in the evening.nnThe meals we ordered tasted wonderful and portion sizes were large. One sad note, my haddock sandwich was greasy and made my bun soggy. I couldn't pick up the sandwich without it falling apart. No worries, I sliced and diced that bad boy to pieces and enjoyed it.nnIt's worth the wait so make sure you get a reservation! During summer months it gets packed!
