Excellent wood fired pizza, salads, pasta and burgers. Generous portions. Always a good local beer menu and the staff is super friendly and professional. Never have had any complaint. One of the best places around.
I was first introduced to Ricettas at the old South Portland location in the early 1990s and I have loved it ever since - it is my favoite pizza that I have ever had! Living in the Boston area, I don't have it as much as I'd like, but I always get it several times per year when I return to Maine to visit family. Extremely fresh ingredients - the sauce, cheeses and toppings are all delicious!
The family dinner was a great choice today. It's a pretty good deal to get an appetizer a pizza and some pasta with more than enough food to feed the entire family.
The food was fantastic. With reduced seating dining was quiet and service was excellent. We will be going back soon.
Definitely way too expensive for a pizza.nPizza not bad, though - and I am 100% Italian, born and raised.
