The men of this post provided the military honors for my father's funeral. Their presence at his graveside was a great comfort and honor. Whitemore is my family's home town and I recall pancake feeds at the post when I was a child. We were invited back to the post after the funeral service. The atmosphere of this wonderful, active, place full of men and women who have served this country, was uplifting.
