2015 / 2016 ER visit your female Dr. / RNnI don't know her position, but because I didn't sleep with her she miss billed , & marked me as dope head, pill hunter. I have never taken a script from CAMC for narcotics.EVER! My name is Michael Jones. You fix this or I will find an attorney who will. PS do your research Rite Aid by the hospital is whom I have used for years.

My husband was there for 3 weeks due to stroke, seizures, sepsis and pneumonia. Every doctor, nurse (bless them!) and staff I came in contact with were kind, courteous and professional.

To begin among so many negatives within General walls. The lack of free parking is laughable. Cabell Huntington has a huge parking lot of free parking. Jus like Charleston is ludacrisly deficient in free parking so is the downtown city hospital. Sad where free parking is most needed. Hence why folks go to South Ridge instead of the Charleston Town Center. Greed has made Charleston the #1 shrinking city &deservingly so. Continue down this path it will be #1 shrinking town. Lol

I’m an extreme sports athlete/adrenaline junkie involved in high risk activities that often times end in hospital visits. I’ve had countless surgical procedures done here, been in the ER more times than I can count, spent sometime in the ICU more than once, I know this hospital very well. They might be a little slow and unorganized on a rare occasion but overall they’re very professional, caring, helpful, friendly, and attentive. They go above and beyond to care for all patients.

This hospital certainly does provide life changing care, except that change is detrimental. I wouldn’t bring a reptile here for care, much less a family member or loved one.nThe majority of the staff, nurses, doctors, and surgeons are rude, unprofessional, and simply not qualified to hold people’s lives and wellbeing’s in their hands. Instead of aiding the patient that needed trauma help, they caused more damage; so now my loved on will not have a fully functioning arm/hand. After the same surgeon performed 5+ surgeries to fix one problem, our family decided to have him transferred; which became a problem to have accomplished due to poor communication and professionalism.nWe had him moved to another state for care, and in one day of surgery, they corrected what they could and had the arm “fixed” within ONE OPERATION; keep in mind, CAMC failed to do the same operation nearly 5 times.nPlease, don’t send your love ones here. They may certainly damage their patients permanently or even be so negligent that they murder their patient.nOn top of all of that, the hospital is disgusting. They never allowed or offered bathing, or help to brush teeth or anything. The building is falling apart, with mold and more covering the walls and ceilings. No wonder their COVID cases are still so high.nnPlease, don’t ever send your loved ones there. I don’t want anyone to ever experience the hell we experienced while under their “care”.
