We received absolutely no guidance on how to use the kayaks, where to go or not go once out on the water, etc. I had to ask them how long we could stay out and how to get in. There was no safety talk like you get with most other places. Once we were out on the water, we quickly realized that they hadn't closed the plug on one of the kayaks and we capsized. We had to swim a mostly sunken kayak to shore and empty out all of the water. Once we got back to the dock there was no one there to help us. Overall, we were disappointed with the experience and will not return.

Went in to eat today and that was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The employees were rude. Out of probably 10 employees, only one was working taking out the trash. Tables were dirty. After our food was brought to us, I had to go ask for ketchup, salt, pepper and napkins. About 5 of the employees were all sitting by the window playing on their phones. The girl brought me the ketchup and basically dropped the salt and pepper to were I had to pick it up off the counter. Then asked for napkins or paper towels and the boy said they didn’t have any Didn’t bother to go look for any. As far as the menu, I’m not sure what happen or why, but it sucks! $15 for a catfish plate and $12 for a burger and fries. It don’t have anything on it like it used too. Probably won’t be going back there to eat.

I drive an hour to come over to the restaurant and eat because the website says there open and when I get there after paying at the gate $60 just to turn around and leave (cant get ur money back at the gate) because the restaurant is closed. Why is buffalo springs so great that u have to pay $60 at the gate just to go eat there to pay $100 or so just to eat and leave? Not to mention the nasty water is just city of lubbock streets run off.

Ordered the Dwayne Johnson Philly. Interesting take with bacon, jalapeno, bell pepper and an egg. Cooked to order, so it took a little longer. Not unreasonable though. Batter on the onion rings was spot on though. Excellent onion rings! Ordered the fresh lemonade as well. It was very diluted, and not tart at all.

It's Saturday night and we're from out of town. We are staying out in Ransom Canyon. There's not really any other food out here but this place looked good. FIRST THOUGH. We didn't know until we arrived at the gate that you actually have to pay $11 per person to get into the marina, and can't access the restaurant without paying. Well, we were committed (and hungry) at this point so we sucked it up and paid. We even talked to the guy at the booth and he confirmed it was open. We went in and it was not open. Definitely very closed. We went back to the booth, 6 hangry women, and demanded our money back. He gave it back, apologizing for not knowing the restaurant was closed. Guys, be better.
