Jeff's BLT was awesome! Great atmosphere. Would love to visit in the evening sometime. They have live music one night during the weekend!

Its a bar with bar food...expect nothing more.nnNot what I expected. We gave this place a little time to get established and I'm always seeing crowds of vehicles in the parking lot and were hoping for a more family friendly atmosphere, but it's definitely a bar attracting that crowd of people. Small menu, small attention to detail. Waiting area is very cramped with people always moving by you.nnWe tried the chicken fried steak and received overcooked McDonald's sized cuts of meat, not the Texas sized portions you come to expect around here. The grilled veggies were excellent, but the mashed potatoes are a hard pass.nnThe menu descriptions have me curios to come back...but maybe for a quick to-go lunch one day.

Montez Creekside Kitchen is one of the best experiences in East Texas! Every single detail is spot on. Our server, Olivia, was funny, cheerful, helpful, knowledgeable, and one of the most attentive waitresses I’ve ever had the pleasure of being waited on by. The drinks were top-notch (I recommend the pomegranate margarita), and the chicken gumbo and bean dip were enough to send someone into a food coma! To top it all off, we enjoyed watching wild otters play in the pond behind the restaurant after we were done eating! Go now!

Service was a little slow, but it was a Saturday night so it was to be expected. Food was amazing, and the staff is so friendly!
