I had a colonoscopy performed in the SurgiCenter. The staff was very personable, caring and professional from the front desk sign in, presurgery, procedure room, and recovery room. I trust my health care to Murfreesboro Medical Clinic and SurgiCenter. Thank you!

I want to say a big THANK YOU! To whomever helped my patients today.nnMy 95 year old parents live in Murfreesboro and I live in Orlando.nI try to be in Tennessee for their appointments but couldn’t be there today so I called the receptionist in the lobby of Dr. Hood’s office to see if they could take my mother up to her appointment in a wheelchair when she arrived since I am not there’s to help her.nThey took her name and said they would be happy to help her to her appointment.nWhen my mother returned home she called me and said “thank you for calling for a wheelchair for me.”nShe said a nice young lady “who was as sweet as could be” was waiting for them when they arrived, took her to her appointment, waited for her to finish with her appointment and took her back downstairs to the lobby.nTo my mother’s surprise she took her all the way to the parking lot, they forgot where their car was parked and the young woman had to push her around until they found their car in the 90 degree heat.nnWhat a special caring facility to go above and beyond for a patient. Thank you for letting a staff member leave their job duties to help a patient.nAgain, thank you so much for taking care of MY mother as I would! Always able to get an appt in a timely manner, staff is always helpful and happy to help. I’ve never had an issue with MMC and happy to refer others to this establishment.

Google only gave me the option for 1 star when I wanted to give NO STARS....anyways...MMC in Murfreesboro is nothing but money hungry people. I can't make an appointment to get well because of a charge from 2008! 2008 yall. 12 years ago! I was 15 years old then! They are clearly not in it to help people, but to only screw them over. They are definitely greedy people.

Had an issue with refusal of refills for my insulin, called to complain after reporting the healthcare professional to the state. I called the office manager of internal medicine and told her my issue, she told me she’d investigate after cutting me off multiple times while I was trying to tell her what exactly had happened. I never got the full story out with the manager before she was saying that she had to investigate the issue and call me back within an hour... I was called back about 3.5 hours later. Also during this call as I was being continuously interrupted so that she could tell me that the professional I as complaining on didn’t even work weekends so it couldn’t be her after pharmacists told me who the woman was and said woman was the woman I was a patient with. I felt like I was being argued down and the resolution that was offered was for me to continue to see someone I no longer trust as my healthcare provider.nnI was made to feel like the office manager, Amy Wolaver was only trying to make sure that the person I was complaining on wasn’t truly listening to me and only wanted to make sure that the person that I was complaining about was innocent and that I had the wrong person after I named the person. I had to tell this woman I wasn’t comfortable with the worker I was having issues with helping with my medical needs multiple times because a referral Appointment that I requested because of this issue Didn’t have any appointments soon enough. I then was told I’d have to see this worker and again I said I wasn’t comfortable and then I was offered an option. After “investigating” this issue I still feel as if it was unresolved and that I wasn’t really helped and hung up feeling disappointed and unheard. Very disgusted. I will be staring my this issue with the office manager with someone else as well. If I could give 0 stars I would.nnI have never experienced something like this with MMC, they’re usually so helpful and nice, but I have been turned off by this experience. I’m not sure if I caught some people on a bad day or what, but I may be looking for care elsewhere which is so upsetting because I really enjoyed MMC before this issue occurred.nnUpdate/Edit: after checking my profile I noticed I was marked non-compliant for a part of my treatment, but after looking through all of these reviews I’ve seen other marked non compliant and then being told by their dr office within MMC that could not come back for being difficult patients... waiting to see if this will happen to me as I continue to make my problem known with this company any way that I can. A lot of people are having the same issues as I am and now I feel like I was made to feel I was being dramatic or difficult when this it is glaringly obvious that this is an ongoing issue not only in internal medicine like my problem but other offices as well.
