Dr. Patel and the staff at Trustpoint are remarkable to work with! It was the much needed intervention for our family member. The whole atmosphere is very calming and safe. We highly recommend and will always return here if future needs arise. Great experience for our family in our crisis situation!

Great staff and overall experience. This facility is dedicated to teaching youth coping skills they will use for life instead of pushing medications at the problems. I’m very impressed by their skill and professionalism and highly recommend them!

I am very pleased with the care my 12 yr old son has gotten at Trustpoint. I work in psych myself and I was very surprised at their high level of care. His doctor and social worker were very caring and informative, and communicated with me a lot. The nurses and techs all really cared about my son, and went the extra mile to help him deal with his emotions. This is an amazing acute care hospital, and I highly recommend it!!

I am giving Trust Point a 5 star for their staff and especially the gifted Dr. Patel. He was able to help us with our daughter, after only meeting with her for an hour, and was able to figure out what had been going on and that she had been misdiagnosed for years!!! He has wonderful insight, compassion, and support and is an asset to Trust Point. The BIGGEST downside to Trust Point and I would give them only ONE star is the food. My daughter has both Celiac and food aversions. There were hardly any options for her that were Gluten Free, even after consulting with nutrition. She confessed to being able to eat snacks with gluten in front of staff, due to the limited availability. She ate Pop-tarts on many occasions which are clearly not healthy and not okay for someone with Celiac. This should NOT have happened, especially with the unlimited amount of Gluten free foods available today. I even offered to either bring food she could eat or speak with someone in Nutrition, but they reassured me that it was being taken care of. It was not taken care of. The LAST thing these kids and teens need to be concerned over at a time of crisis, is FOOD. If my teen needed to be hospitalized again, I would be hesitant to send her back due to the nutritional support at Trust Point. I would be happy to consult with them so that future kids/teens with food allergies would not have to worry about their next meal and be able to focus on what matters most each day. If the food issues were fixed, I would suggest this hospital over all of the other Middle TN inpatient behavioral health facilities, as we have had experience in 3 of them already. Please consider making this change!!

I brought my daughter in here in hopes she would come out feeling better. Although it was quite the opposite. She came out even worse than before. Her food was spoiled. She wasn’t given shampoo or body wash. She was given an OLD toothbrush and USED deodorant. She sat in her room most of the time and there were none of the promised activities. She didn’t receive any help what so ever. I’m so disappointed. Under NO circumstances do I recommend taking your children or loved ones here. I wish I could give this a lower score.
