My daughter woke up with a fever and cough on Sunday morning so we went online and got an appointment for early afternoon. We were seen right away during our appointment time and it was another 20 to 30 minutes before we saw a doctor which we expected given that this is an urgent care clinic. We brought some books which helped pass the time. The doctor was very kind and apologized for the wait, and after a few more checks, she cleared my daughter to go home. Sick kids is never fun but this was a good experience overall.

Turn around right now.I would not recommend. It’s flu season and strep throat season. The provider did not find reasoning on testing my toddler for flu yesterday so I had to tell her as the parent that I did want my Child tested for the flu. My toddler had a high fever 103 at home and a runny nose and red eyes.....but some how there was no reasoning to test for the flu? It should be an automatic protocol to test for the flu and strep throat! I took my other child to the walk in clinic on Pewitt rd and they automatically knew to swab my child for both. Here I am for the second day In a row at this clinic because my child has signs of a strep throat. It shouldn’t take two clinic visits for a doctor to diagnose your child correctly. What’s the point of going to medical school? Also, the wait times are ridiculous. The online check in from home was not working either.

Today was our first visit to this clinic and we were absolutely blown away with the kindness and bedside manner of the staff. We made an appointment online and were seen as scheduled .Nurse Kandy is hands down one of the best pediatric nurses we've ever worked with. She took time to gain my boy's trust, help him smile, and decrease his fear. Dr. Copenhaver was incredibly sensitive to my son's needs as a boy with high functioning Autism. If you ever need an after hours clinic, based on our visit today, I would highly recommend it.

I know they aren't obligated to share the cost of service, but we brought two kids in for a strep test and were charged $860. Understand this is an after-hours clinic, but perhaps recommend alternatives for less critical care.nnUpdate: contacted Patient Relations and all they did was apologize that I wasn’t happy with my experience but stated that the charge was accurate. Pretty much what I expected. We won’t be using this clinic again.

Last week, I made an appointment for my five-year-old to have a laceration on the back of his head assessed. The appointment was at 6:30 PM and I was asked to arrive by 6:10 PM to check in. I believe we arrived about 6:12 PM. We were called back about 6:45 PM as there was one person in front of us although a waiting room full of patients. Only myself and one other patient had made an appointment, all others were walkins. The receptionist and nurses that assisted us were all very kind and helpful, however, the doctor That eventually came in at 8 PM Was not eager to assist us and had awful bedside manner. She wanted to numb my child’s head which would then take another 30 to 45 minutes and then irrigate the wound which would open it up then make a decision about what to do next. I did not disagree with what she wanted to do… I was extremely frustrated that we have been there almost 2 hours before the doctor even saw us and then it was going to take at least another 30 minutes to figure out what to do. I simply did not feel good about this process so I had the nurse wrap his head and decided to have it seen by someone else in the morning. The doctor was not very happy about this decision but my gut was telling me to leave. When I left, the waiting room was empty and I did not hear any other children… Seems like they chose to help all the walkins before the one person with the appointment. The next morning, I took my son to physicians urgent care and had a totally different experience. Wish I would’ve gone there to start with!
