They have made great strides the problem is covid-19 has hit every retailer though empty shelves, but for me it's close and easier to get what you need and get out

I enjoy going here, workers are nice. Their prices are good. All of us have to watch prices even more today.

Was wrongfully accused of stealing after the alarm was set off at the door. Had our bag checked for stolen merchandise and they found a bottle of Tylenol still in the box with a DOLLAR GENERAL security sticker that was setting off the alarm. Now for some reason the manager overlooked the dollar general logo and told us we were banned and if we didn't leave they would call the cops for traspassing. Since she was trying to use the police as intimidation we went ahead and called the police. While waiting for the cops to arrive one of the managers called their boss to let them know what was going on since we had called the police. While she was explaining I saw her pick up the box of Tylenol up and finally notice the Dollar General logo on the security tag and promptly told her boss about her mistake and asked what she should do since the cops were on their way. We then asked to have to bottle back since it was clearly not from that store and was ignored from that point on until the police arrived . The police arrived and we were of course met with disappointment. They said the managers didn't really need a reason to ban us since they were a private business but no charges were filed because there was no grounds for it since the merchandise was clearly not from that store.We were walked out of the store and we were handed the bottle of Tylenol with the DOLLAR GENERAL logo once outside the store almost as a reminder of how stupid this whole ordeal had been. The two managers were extremely rude through out the whole process and kept telling us to shut up and get out all while accusing us of lying and stealing in front of all the other customers. What can I do about this horrible experience?

Cashier didn't speak to me, I had to speak to her. She seemed to enjoy the conversation with the customer in front of me, however she said my total out loud. I swiped my card and got my own receipt as she started a conversation with another customer that wasn't even in her line. I wont be back. I'm making this known of how you treated me by choice. I wish I would have went somewhere else.
