My husband and I took my family members from Georgia to eat at Dan's on 3-9-2021 because we haven't been there in a long time. I always remembered how excellent the food used to be and thought taking them there would be a nice treat!! WHAT THE HECK HAS HAPPENED TO DAN'S BBQ?? I paid $71.00+ for dry, cold and old food!!! I'm so highly disappointed and we made up our minds that we will never go eat at Dan's again!! My memories from childhood on of Dan's is just memories now! So very sad and let down!!

Haven't been here is 25 years. Decided to go on Saturday 12/19/20. Should've just got the buffet. I had 2 meat combo plate ribs were excellent the chopped pork tasted horrible. Wife had the brisket. What she was served was clearly bottom round they smoked very little. The taste was strong like eating bacon and sausage from a 800 lbs boar hog with nuts the size of NBA basketballs. We won't be back.

I wouldn't define it as BBQ. Overpriced for what you get & the flavors remind me of elementry cafeteria food.

Fantastic food!!! Completely overshot my expectations! I absolutely loved the food! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with an added fried egg, and it has landed on my top 5 burgers list! I had some nibbles of my husband's ribs and I was shocked to find that I in fact found a rib that I actually enjoyed! I do not like ribs generally, but this will be my next order I get! Truly a remarkable place! The atmosphere is nothing special, the service is not above any standards of excellence, but in all honesty with food this good you don't need anything else!

Great old rt 66 iconic bbq place. Definitely worth a stop.
