UNC Hospital Imaging & Spine Center

I have been here multiple times and never had a problem, waiting no more than 15 minutes, very well organized and everyone is so nice. I could go to a place near where I live, but I rather drive from PBoro to UNC Imaging Center.

I went for opinion on my neck the doctor has his office here, No mentioned a hospital of 200; beside the doctor visit charge, I had no hospital service, only a doctor visit, same quality of checkup as when you se a PCP., he nothing special, no blood work, no xray; so why a hospital charge.nnDr advised I go to PT down the hall, so booked it, place was empty each times I visited. First PT session, they asked for $134, when I asked why so high, i was told it is because of the evaluation the first visit is (other PT places I visited have not been so hight even for first visit so was surprised.) . They assured me it would lower for 2nd saying they customary is $65.nnsecond visit, they ask fo $250, I stood asking for expiation of change because hey they said it would be less second visit. They gave no explanation. They said they can take $50 as Copay and it is likely a mistake, can be sorted out. Mistake, I should have walked away.nnLater I find out that the for the first PT they charged $250 for a battery of diagnostic questions; and an additional $91 for having me do some exercise for about 15 minutes; so over $300, for really little.nnThey have a right to charge they whatever they want, but they have no right to not clearly tell what they will charge. Especially when insurance is not envolved, or when it is a High Deductible Insurance. All that aside they lied.
