UNC Hospitals

Great hospital and medical staff. I would've given it 5 stars but when you're coming from a place that's 3 hours away with a small child or infant, we the mothers need to be able to bring a support person to help with the kids while we drive and while in the hospital. I held my pee for 3 hours because I had no one to watch my little one while I used the bathroom. Please change that rule. This trip was very hard.

It is impossible to schedule an appointment in this hospital. Both times I have called there were only answering machines, I left messages but nobody has cared to call me back with an appointment time. How they can survive with an attitude like that is beyond my understanding. Where are the supervisors who should train their people to outstanding patient services? I had put all my Hope in this appointment which did not happen, just SAD.

My procedures (both legs) were somewhat extensive, yet painless and fully successful. I couldn't be more pleased. I waited until my 6 week check up to write this review just to make certain of my outcome. I can only reiterate that this is the practice to recommend to anyone seeking these services. He will not disappoint!

Wanting customers to park in the parking deck to pick up meds is absurd when pharmacist is waiting at the door with meds! All the security outside, but no one to assist patients. UNC also has some internal issues that have nothing to do with Covid, but that is their cop out now. Use to be a great hospital and my favorite place; looking for new hospital and Doctors.

UNCH CAFE 2nI had this meal at the Hospital’s cafe! It was fresher than any other hospital food. I really enjoyed the honey butter biscuit! The Mac and cheese was extremely cheesy for my cheese lovers. I am not a huge fan of cheese but it was well seasoned and you can see the spices and seasonings within the mac and cheese. The mashed potatoes I could tell were whole potatoes that we’re smashed I noticed the texture was chunky and the gravy was good and flavorful. It was pretty reasonably priced and they also had a variety of other options to choose from the other hot bars and salad bar stations.
