Employees are seriously great but this hospital is so outdated with the whole surgery tracking codes thing. Put it on the website or on the TVs in the room so I can keep track of my loved one's surgery progress without having to go to a crowded waiting room, and gather around a crowded TV screen. Nobody wants to sit in one freakin place staring at a TV screen during a 2 hour surgery for their loved one nor do they want to risk catching the virus or anything else from the people in the waiting room and then bring back it to the same room my loved one is recovering in. Get with program, singing river!

I was fortunate enough to work here for several months a few years ago on a rotation, and I must say that the commitment to pediatric care is excellent here. For an older hospital, it is well-kept, and the organization demonstrates a legitimate commitment to its mission of providing superlative care to children with a plethora of medical needs. The difference one can notice between a Children's Hospital level of care and a general community hospital in caring for ones' children is incredible.

Now I have a baby, and I need a pediatrician. Look no further, because can I just tell you, when it came to baby, Brandy has gone above and beyond. She seriously provides the absolute best care for my son. My son was born perfect, so there is no need to do all these things that traditional/western medicine is trained to do.

My mother was taken in for a broken arm.nShe was in emergency room over 10 hours along with the nurse cutting her while lifting . She was admitted to have surgery . The staff did NOT inform me ( in which I have medical power of attorney) so who signed and allowed treatment and surgery? And who’s responsible for cutting her ? Why was I not informed?

I’ve seen so many people’s reviews who were treated badly at the hospital, but I had a wonderful experience.nFrom check in to check out, everybody was very friendly and nice.nnI had to go through the emergency room for my surgery and they pointed me to go up to the first floor. From there, Katie the front admin desk had asked me for my orders and I told her nobody gave it to me and it was suppose to be faxed over. She gave the obgyn clinic a call and ask for the paperwork. And she got it within 5 minutes after calling. After that, we went to the billing department which was in the same area as the waiting area. We got called in and paid for my portion after my insurance took care of 80% of the bill.nnWe sat back down in the waiting room after finishing up the bill portion and a nice woman escorted us first to labs to get my blood samples and also a covid test was done. After all of that, the nice woman escorted us to the patient room where I got undressed and waiting for my IV to be inserted in to my arm.nnMy husband got a card stating my name and number so he can follow along my progress during my surgery in the patient waiting room.nnThe room was very clean, everything felt like they were wiped down, the toilet seat was also wiped down because there was a “sanitized” band on the toilet seat.nnThe hospital gave me socks and a gown to wear during surgery. When I got my IV inserted in and took my antibiotic, there was a man who wheeled me in to the surgery room and that’s when Dr. Banahan did her thing and an hour later, I woke up in the recovery room.nnI was the only patient in the recovery room so the two nurses that were there, took tremendous care of me.nnOne of the nurses woke me up and I screamed because I forgot where I was due to the strong anesthesia. We laughed it off after I was fully somewhat conscious. I also had to go pee and when they pulled up a portable potty I attempted to stand up on my own but I fell down pretty hard and the two nurses came and picked me up and comforted me because I was shaking too.nnOverall. The hospital staff was amazing, my doctor was amazing, everything in the facility felt very clean and everyone followed covid protocol. I highly recommend coming to this hospital and giving a chance here because I had a great experience with this place. Thank you Amanda and Lynn from the recovery room. You guys rock!
