Coming from Wisconsin to Mississippi can be a big jump. The culture in the South can be, and is, very different. However, The Field is a warm and welcoming place. The patrons and the bartenders made me feel welcome and at home. The conversations were great. The people were greater. The drinks were the greatest.nnIf you are a Bloody Mary lover, you need to get the loaded Bloody Mary on Sundays. It comes complete with a donut hole from a local business (literally across the street).nnA must stop for when you need to go where everybody knows your name.
