I have been sitting here since 3pm. No one has sanitized the waiting area. Only the front desk. A patient asked them to and it's be almost an hour and no one has come out. They have x-rayed me and drew blood and it's going on 8pm and I have no results. They refuse to give you something to eat until the doctor sees you yet there's no telling when that will be. I have checked twice and I'm in too much pain to keep walking back and forth. The staff at the desk also seems to lack empathy with the patients in the emergency waiting room. This has been my worst emergency room experience. I came here because I live around the corner but I doubt I'll be back. I also saw a x-ray nurse almost take the wrong patient. I told her twice he was the wrong person. He didn't have a wrist band on. She went to get one to put it on him and I told her a third time that was the wrong man. She checked with the other man and found out I was right.

The staff of the ED is very rude, I was told one thing and they did another. Said I was supposed to get scans performed in a day or two, appointment was scheduled 2 months later. Discharged under false information and lies. Upon following up said there is nothing they can do, and hung up.

I wait 2 hours an they ignored me when asking for info and called everyone who was there when I got there but me and more. They sounded like they all talked about me over a phone call to barnes. Isn't it illegal to give info on patients over the phone? Huh they don't seem to follow guidelines.

I met a family member at SLU's ER last night after she had been in a car accident. We were there over 5 hours for her to receive a CT scan & results. Waiting room was small & dirty. Staff was not helpful. Poorly organized, no communication from staff. Very sad that this is the medical care people receive in 2020.
