The Thaxton is one of, if not, the best bar in St. Louis. Friendly, inviting employees & owners craft fantastic cocktails & have built a gorgeous bar/interior vibes. Beautiful Art-Deco architecture. Would be a fabulous place to host a private event. We are back in the roaring 20s. Time to appreciate St. Louis' finest, hidden gem.
We held our wedding reception at The Thaxton this past Saturday and it was PERFECT. Kim and her staff did a phenomenal to make our guests feel welcome and safe. The building itself is incredible, a great spot for photos. Our guests had compliments about everything- the service, the drinks, the staff, the ambiance, even the covid precautions. If there’s a downside to any of it, some of our guest perhaps felt a little too comfortable with everything. I cannot possibly more highly recommend this venue. You will not be disappointed!
We just had our wedding and reception at The Thaxton. It was absolutely perfect. Kim, Mad Dog, and all the staff were amazing from the beginning to the very end. Dj Uptown kept the party alive! We couldn’t be happier, our guests are raving about it today, and I’m sad it’s over. We went with a 1920s attire optional and our guest really got into it. They all looked amazing. So much fun! I highly recommend The Thaxton!
We held a corporate event at the Thaxton & it was incredibly last minute. Not only did Kim at the Thaxton have everything put together within a week but it was A+ and incredibly popular event that all of our guests have still be raving about. Thank you so much!!
