Visited Square One while in St Louis on business this week. Definitely a place everyone visiting St Louis needs to check out. Food is fantastic and their drinks are amazing. I had the smoke salmon club sandwich and it more than exceeded my expectations. Also had their own twist on a mule. They made it with own vodka and house-made pomegranate kombucha.nStaff was friendly and attentive as well.
Amazing food, beer made on premises, lively crowd, always great conversation. This is one of my favorite neighborhood bars in the US (and I travel all over the world.) Any time I am on this side of town, I will eat, drink and be merry here!
Really nice place for a bite and a pint. Hit this little gem up for brunch on a fun Saturday morning hanging out with a friend. They have lots of great options and tasty cocktails. Very very busy during the brunch hours. The Bruschetta Lox is a high point for sure. The Breakfast Beer is a must and the cinnamon roll makes a great share plate and pairs well with their coffee. The building is awesome to just sit back and enjoy a drink in. Recommend a visit.
I like the atmosphere in the restaurant and the food was delicious. However, they seemed to be short staffed. There were four of us in my party. We waited about 45 minutes to receive our food. Once we were done, the waiter never came back to ask us if we wanted anything else, nor give us the check. We had to walk up to the cashier and ask for it. Overall, the visit to this restaurant was okay, just hope they hire more staff soon.
We’ve been fans of Square One for years after moving to Lafayette Square. Now having relocated to Cape Girardeau we still go out of our way to support them throughout the pandemic. The atmosphere, food, drinks, etc are all terrific. Whether it’s an easy Sunday brunch or special occasion dinner, you can’t go wrong.
