An absolutely fantastic Italian eatery. I've eaten dishes of comparable cost and stature all across the US, but this place might just take the cake. From wine, to meat and cheese, pasta, and entrees, this is a fantastic place to dine. Better yet was the fantastic service Jerry gave and commentary on the food itself from the chef. Although I'm not from St. Louis, I hope to be back soon!
There's no pictures of the food in this review because it was so good I didn't want to grab my phone...just enjoy the ambience of the quaint dining area, the friendliness of all the staff and the amazing food. Was recommended an excellent bottle of wine (my wife and I don't know much about Italian reds) to start. The $50 tasting menu definitely is the way to go. Reservations are a must unless you want to eat really early or really late.
We had a spectacular experience with delicious food. Our server, Jean Christophe was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable of the menu and srink selections. Great atmosphere! Every table was occupied but we were nicely distanced.
Lovely, intimate space in Maplewood. The four course tasting menu lets you sample your favorites rather than choosing for you. A big meal overall so you may want to skip lunch. Wine list on the high end but quality matches. Attentive and friendly staff made for a lovely evening celebrating a new administration!
