The main Hospital is okay, however the Emergency room will probably let you die. My soldier WAS pregnant went to ER for extreme pain and they gave her tylenol and told her to go to sick call the next day. They didn't even bother to actually listen to her or verify anything. the Major on duty was rude and dismissive. My soldier ended up having her baby prematurely an hour later in the toilet went back to ER all they said was SORRY while she got rushed to emergency surgery.

Lab is only open on weekdays, unless it's an emergency. What kind of hospital doesn't have an open outpatient lab on the weekends? Also, the civilian lab staff openly complained of the amount of patients on a Friday (12 March 2021), in front of said patients like they were inconvenienced by having to do their job. Very unprofessional.

Its ridiculous how incompetent and reckless the staff at this facility has proven to be. NOTHING in the state of louisiana should be trusted. I feel pity for the residents of the state and for the residents of this station. This facility will tell you ANYTHING without any research or knowledge regarding your issue or medical needs.

I'm new on post and all the negative reviews on here scared me but I've had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the facilities. I've been here twice in just over a week and in that time I had a wellness exam where my doctor addressed all my concerns in a respectful and caring manner, a well woman exam, an x-ray, ct scan, allergy test and got medications from the pharmacy. Both visits were just over an hour including visits to multiple departments and I never waited more than 20 minutes at any point. I was usually seen within 5 minutes of checking in. I'm actually impressed that my doctor put in all these orders for tests and medications because my civilian doctors usually just blew off all my concerns and wouldn't do any imaging or diagnostics. In one week I've addressed years of concerns that have gone ignored.
