Overall the experience was good. My drinks for good, but as for the food I must say, I asked what was on the loaded nachos and I was told anything you want bacon meat cheese anything you want.. I told the guy that I wanted everything that he had except for onions and peppers. And when I received my nachos back it was just canned chili canned cheese nachos. Nothing other than chili and cheese. And they were like $9.nBut the atmosphere is friendly, the band was decent, and the staff was very friendly and speedy. The bartenders can make a good drink.nI'll be back. ud83dude0e

Wish this place was still Poppa T’s, they had a big menu and the food was great. Now that’s it back to Gators the menu is tiny and the portions are even smaller. Recently went to Gators with the wife to eat. My wife ordered the Seafood Platter. When you read the word “Platter” that leads you to believe your getting a platters worth of food, especially when your paying $18 for that “Platter”. Well lemme tell tell ya folks, the seafood platter at Gators should be on the appetizer menu! Don’t believe me, go order yourself one and find out for yourself. I’d definitely stick with the beer and stay away from the food at ole Gators.

Unfortunately, we struck out at lunch. We ate at the old restaurant weekly and looked forward to Gators reopening. The grilled shrimp salad was pretty good, but both the blue cheese and ranch dressings were disappointing. The 1/2 Pound Cheeseburger was too greasy to eat, and I've got a garbage gut and love junk food. When I picked up the burger a stream of grease ran out, and I realized the bun was totally saturated. There was a pool at the bottom of the basket. So I tried just eating the Patty, but it just tasted like pure grease. The menu is very basic, so there wasn't anything else I felt I should try. Hopefully they make some changes, because its a great location with real potential if they can get the cooking right.
