My grandparents have been seeing Vasile for years we are from Canada and I got my first pair of orthotics this year when I visited them. I am a hairstylist and I have arthritis in my hips, I am standing all day on my feet for work just after the first day I noticed a huge decrease in the pain on the heels of my feet and in my knees and hips. Vasile is very thorough and makes sure you are satisfied with the fit and comfort. Thank you for great customer service and fixing me up!

Faklis is your friendly neighborhood one stop shop. Not only can you buy a pair of quality shoes, but you can get the orthopedic insoles, shoe repairs and much more. Save yourself from going to dreaded Wal-M....you can get socks and undershirts there too!!! Thank you Faklis!
One of the oldest running businesses in the state, these guys KNOW shoes. Expert orthopedics, leather repair, and supply. One of the original downtown businesses, it's almost a tourist destination just for being so amazingly unchanged in decades. They keep it old-school.
Don't let the store's old-timey vibe fool you - their orthotic services are cutting edge! After a couple of unsuccessful attempts at finding help for plantar fascitis and balance issues elsewhere, I dropped by Faklis and have been stable and pain-free ever since. The custom orthotics they created are fantastic and were quite reasonably priced. They offer a variety of shoes, sneakers and sandals to accommodate orthotics, provide awesome customer service and will order what you need if not on the shelf. My podiatrist is very pleased with both the shoe and the orthotic...so am I.
