This Mexican restaurant is THE BEST when it comes to so many things. The service is truly unbeatable, as is the food. Whether it be dine in or cary out, they pay close attention to what you want. They love there community and we love them! Thank you El Jalapeño!

Just moved near Strasburg and am trying different restaurants. The food here was SO good...very fresh tasting and full of flavor.
BEST Mexican food in the Shenandoah Valley- in my opinion. Having grown up in Arizona, I love Mexican/Tex Mex food. While I have tried many in this area, none can compare to El Jalepeno Mexican Grill. The wait staff is polite, attentive and pleasant. The Margaritas are delightful and the Jalapeno sauce is ADDICTIVE! Their slow cooked chicken dish with Jalapeno sauce melts in your mouth with such a rich, ever-so-slightly spicy flavor. I sometimes travel over an hour, just to eat here. It is a destination, and the town of Strasburg makes for an enjoyable day trip from NVA/DC. Plenty to do, great food, and beautiful scenery makes for a safe/fun trip even during COVID restrictions. Outdoor seating is available.
