After seeing the great reviews, we were really excited to try this place. Unfortunately, it was a downright bad experience. We ordered at 5:30pm and didn’t receive our food until 6:45pm. When I checked with our waiter about the food (politely of course, I wasn’t angry, just concerned that our order had been misplaced) after an HOUR of waiting, I was given attitude about how my girlfriends well done burger takes awhile to cook. It doesn’t take an hour to cook a well done burger. I ordered a rare steak and received a well done steak instead.nnOur waiter noticed my steak was well done, remarked “you were hoping for a rarer steak, huh?”, then just...walked off. I’ve never in my life had that happen before. Why ask about my steak, see that it’s clearly wrong, then not even offer to fix it? I didn’t send it back because I try to be low maintenance and easy going, but he just shouldn’t have asked in the first place if he wasn’t gonna fix it. The waiter also put his hand on my shoulder and left it there for a few moments, which would be fine if there wasn’t a global pandemic going on right now. Touching customers is not acceptable during these times (or just in general, it’s really bizarre).The food in and of itself was okay, but honestly the attitude and wait time was what ruined the dining experience for us.nnI’m also expecting an extremely aggressive reply to this review (seriously, check the other negative reviews of this place and see how ANGRY the owner responses are when faced with relatively minor criticisms), but I just want to make it clear that I appreciate that these folks are working during the pandemic, and I am grateful that they’re providing a dine-in experience during these times; that said, the waiter shouldn’t touch guests, food shouldn’t take an hour and 15 to come out, and I shouldn’t receive attitude when I politely ask about the status of our order.

perfect place for a great lunch after a hike! i love when a restaurant puts as much love into making a salad as they do making shrimp tacos. and those tacos were so yum. our server was super nice and very chill. will be back for sure

Our visit was excellent! Great conversation with Robert, one of the owners. The decor and ambience inside was unique and eclectic (GREAT location). The menu and food were great. We will be back!

Lots to love here. Friendly, personable wait staff, lovely, bright interior, fabulous food.nnHighly recommend the catfish tacos (avoid the HOT sauce if you're a heat wimp like me). And the banana nut cake with espresso frosting... Wow!nnThey have indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is casual, even hippie.nnWe'll be recommending this place to any guests traveling this way!
