I've been waiting for 10 years to get Hutchinson tires on my old bike. Every bike shop I've asked has declined because of the notorious difficulty of installing these tires. But Blue Ridge Cyclery did it for me! I am very happy with the service I have received from them. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience of shopping at their store and have been absolutely delighted with my Trek Dual Sport 4 I bought from them; it was exactly what I was looking for.
The service was amazing. I bought a road bike that had a defect. They took care of it very well. John was specifically very nice and he genuinely tried to help me!
I bought a handlebar mirror several days ago. They installed it, and them checked over my bike, and tightened everything up, without me asking! All just shortly before closing! That’s great service!!
I've bought bikes and gear at this location of Blue Ridge Cyclery. The store is clean and accessible (good Covid protocols!), the selection of gear is really good, and the service and knowledge of the staff is what you hope for when making gear purchases. Charlottesville is lucky to have Blue Ridge Cyclery right in town.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff who is quick to offer help both in the retail space and in the maintenance area. Willing to do simple repairs for free while waiting. Staff does a good job of asking questions of the customer to find out what would be best for the customer. Clear explanations of why one product may be better than another for my riding experience.
