We stayed in a condo at Mariners Landing and because of the big day we had out, decided to order in. The Landing just reopened a month ago so we gave it a try. Not disappointed at all! Vegetarian friendly options for me, and great meat options for my husband. Even the kids menu was perfect for our daughter. To top it all of we ordered the Krispy Kreme bread pudding for dessert and it was the best I've had in a long time.

Fantastic “take out” experience from The Landing Restaurant last weekend, highly recommend!!!nnWow, where do I begin? The well-planned menu made it hard for me and my wife to decide what to order. We selected the Thai noodles with chicken & the Pittsburgh Fillet, Capresse Salads, and the Krispy Kreme Donut Bread Pudding for dessert. The Thai Noodles had a great presentation, perfectly balanced with other ingredients and spices providing a savory flavor! The Pittsburgh Fillet was a great cut of tenderloin that was tender and was grilled to perfection and paired with great sides and bursting with flavor. The salads combined fresh heirloom tomatoes and mozzarella. We typically do not order desert, but Barbara (from The Landing) sold us on the Krispy Kreme Donut Bread Pudding, it was delicious!!! Barbara was spot on with the dessert, which will now become a standard that we will include in future orders.nnIf you enjoy and appreciate a fine culinary experience with flavors, textures, appearance, great menu options, and portion sizes that won’t leave you hungry, you owe it to yourself to order from The Landing Restaurant. Smith Mountain Lake is very fortunate to have the continued option of fine dining and great food provided by The Landing Restaurant.

My husband and I are visiting SML for the first time together. We originally had planned to go out for a nice meal, but decided to be lazy and order in. Because we are staying at a condo near The Landing, we chose to order from here based on the high food reviews and we were not disappointed! Everything we ordered was delicious and worth the money! We just want to say thank you for being so accommodating to us! Should we ever come back to SML, we hope to have the opportunity to dine inside. But we were more than happy to eat in the comfort of our condo. Thanks again for a great dinner!

Extremely rude lady taking orders and delivering them to cars. I refuse to support a business that makes me feel like I’m a bother when I order.

They refuse to open despite the fact that restaurants can do so safely with the right precautions. The home owners and boaters of SML deserve someone to fill this rental space that will actual open their doors. At this point their decision to stay closed and survive off of donations is purely a political statement. Don’t order food from here, it’s not worth the exceedingly high price for luke warm take in Tupperware.
