Stopped in to drop off an old saddle for inspection and repair. I was thoroughly impressed by this shop and its owner, master saddler and saddle fitter Josh Siegel. He took great care to inspect the saddle, never seemed rushed or distracted, or disinterested in the old saddle. We talked about saddles in general, and even in my short time there I learned new aspects about the art of saddle-making and -preservation. Prices seem completely fair, and I look forward to getting the old saddle back soon.nUPDATE: Picked up the saddle and am entirely impressed by the mastery and attention to detail. Fair price and great customer service. Josh arrived on time and spent 1.5hrs with our horse, finding the best saddle among the nine we own, and then reflocking it on-site. Exceptional service and expertise.
Sent in my saddle for repair. The leather was scratched by a cat. Josh fixed it up quick once he had the parts he needed. Sent it back well packaged. It looks like a new saddle again. Great job.
We have been using Joshua Seigle as our saddle fitter for the last 3 years... Not only is he very professional but he is extremely talented as a saddler and very knowledgable, Not to mention friendly and personable. Since we began using his services our horses have been moving incredibly well and their backs have not been sore. As riders we continue to be very comfortable in our equipment and he continues to educate us on ways to keep our horses backs most comfortable. His repair/custome work is both beautifully done and stong. He takes pride in his work and it shows in the end result.nI will recommend him to anyone who asks...
